As anticipation builds for the next Larnaca Biennale ‘Along Lines and Traces’- the official list of artists whose artwork was selected for the 4th edition will be announced in the next few days- we continue highlighting the artistic voices from the 2023 edition through our interview series by @blacklemontv
#episode6 features Yianna Tsolaki, curator of the @fi_hi_psi_heritage_design ΦΧΨ Heritage Design collective, alongside collaborators Constantinos Economides and Marios Charalambous. Their multidisciplinary practice blends industrial and product design with deep cultural storytelling.
In Larnaca Biennale 2023, their installation, “The Vanished Home (away from home)’ explored themes of memory, displacement, and heritage — featuring a series of metal house facades that gradually shrink and disappear. Their work reflects Cyprus’s layered history, combining historical reference with contemporary design.
With over a decade of creative work and a strong belief in the Larnaca Biennale’s vision, Yianna and her team champion the importance of cultural institutions that resonate both locally and abroad.
Stay tuned in, the artist names for this year’s edition will be revealed very soon!
